This piece offers a huge amount of utility for a low price. I don't always like to vape "ground material," but when I do, the flower cartridge on the 500-DLX is on par with the Pax, in my experience. A quick search suggests this brand is still the leader in handheld vapes, so that says a lot, given that the Pax is more expensive even without the capability to vaporize concentratesRead Full Review »
The big one so far for me has been the concentrates (solids) cartridge. Before this, I hadn't used concentrates. I guess I was put off by the investment it took to get the nail and the butane torch and etc. This cartridge allows you to instantly vape wax, shatter, crumble etc. and the coil provides big, strong hits.
The liquid cartridge has the greatest potential, but I haven't cracked it yet. I imagine some people will fill this with nicotine e-liquid. THC/CBD e-liquid is harder to find. I've found some good recipes online that I will likely try. I've squeezed come CO2 extracts in the tank, and it sort of works, but I think to be really functional you'll need to mix some sort of activated concentrate with propylene glycol or some such thing as a thinner. My CO2 concentrates fit the bill, but they're not liquid enough. I think if I mix in the thinner I'll be all set. In any case, I say it has the greatest potential because this cartridge would be filled once in a blue moon it's filled to the brim. That, and the activated concentrates that work in this sort of wick design tend to smell the least, making this cartridge most discreet.
